In 2016-2017 I collected listings from eBay, Sotheby's, government auctions, the lifestyle merchandise sections of car dealerships, US government agency gift shops, and other marketplaces serving various subcultures. I sent this out as an email newsletter whenever I felt like it. Why did I do this? I was bored at work. I care about shopping. I don't care about consuming, or signaling good taste. We lived through a golden age of online shopping and I don't think I could pull this off today.
